One of Dakotaraptor’s most remarkable features is its powerful wing, which possessed quill knobs. These quill knobs are direct evidence for long wing plumage. The plumage was used for protecting young or hunting, as the animal was too large to fly. We offer a beautifully mounted wing of Dakotaraptor with removable reconstructed plumage, the only item of its kind in the world. Essential for any exhibit on raptors or flight.
