Payment:
7-Day Adventure: An initial deposit in the amount
of $600 must be made on or before July 1, 2007. Only Applications
with a deposit will be guaranteed. 3-Day Dig: An
initial
deposit in the amount of $275 must be made on or
before July 1, 2007 to guarantee availability. Please call
for information. 1-Day
Dig: An initial deposit in the amount of $100 must
be made on or before July 1, 2007 to guarantee availability.
Lodging
is not included for 1-day dig. Please call for more information.
The
balance is due on or before July 1, 2005.
Only Applications with a deposit will be guaranteed. Additional
openings may become available, please call.
Transportation:
The Palm Beach Museum of Natural History, Inc. accepts
no responsibility for travel (or its arrangement)
to and from
Rapid City, SD to attend this program. Transportation
to and from Newell, SD and Rapid City, SD will only
be available
on the first day (Saturday, Day 0), and last
day (Saturday, Day 7) of each seven day cycle and
must be pre-arranged. Persons
opting to participate in any of the shorter programs
or who are participating in a seven day cycle but
wish to arrive
or depart on days other than those when transportation
is available through the Museum, are responsible
for making their
own arrangements.
Restrictions: Participants
(ages 13—17) must be accompanied by a paying
adult (parent or guardian). This program is open to anyone
in the general public as well as the educational community,
however PBMNH reserves the right to decline any application
for any reason.
Refund
Policy:
In the event that you are unable to participate, the deposit
is refundable only if notification is received no less than
14 days prior to the applied for start date. No refund of
the deposit will be payable if notification received within
14 days of the applied for start date. Refunds are not transferable
to other programs. If the Museum cancels any program, a full
refund, minus a $50 administrative fee, will be issued.
Fossils:
The Museum does not participate in the selling of original,
scientifically-significant fossils. Casts may be available
for a fee. Dinosaur Fossil Ownership: All original dinosaur
bones or other fossils excavated during the dig belong to
the museum. Bone Fragments: Surfaced, weathered dinosaur bone
fragments and non-dinosaur fossils may be yours to keep at
the discretion of the Museum.
