Misti Lynn has many areas of focus and these diverse interests
are reflected in her academic and professional life. Her attention
is currently applied to the Neanderthals of Europe, their
cultural heritage and questions about the origins of humanity.
This is an area she plans to research for her graduate thesis
at the Anthropology Department of Florida Atlantic University.
She holds a B.S. in Psychology, a B.A. in Anthropology and
a minor in Biology. Her Undergraduate work was undertaken
at the University of Memphis, Tennessee. The Tennessee University
system is famous for the ’Body Farm,’ and experimental
research center focused on numerous aspects of forensic recovery
of human remains. Misti’s previous subjects of research
have included: the psychology of whales, several distinct
aspects of forensics, study of Native American culture, a
wide range of aspects of human evolution and several ancient
civilizations like the Maya and the Egyptians. She plans to
continue her graduate education with a doctoral degree and
wishes to focus on the competing theories of modern human
origins.
