Misti Lynn




B.A Anthropology, B.S. Psychology, minor in Biology


Misti Lynn has many areas of focus and these diverse interests are reflected in her academic and professional life. Her attention is currently applied to the Neanderthals of Europe, their cultural heritage and questions about the origins of humanity. This is an area she plans to research for her graduate thesis at the Anthropology Department of Florida Atlantic University. She holds a B.S. in Psychology, a B.A. in Anthropology and a minor in Biology. Her Undergraduate work was undertaken at the University of Memphis, Tennessee. The Tennessee University system is famous for the ’Body Farm,’ and experimental research center focused on numerous aspects of forensic recovery of human remains. Misti’s previous subjects of research have included: the psychology of whales, several distinct aspects of forensics, study of Native American culture, a wide range of aspects of human evolution and several ancient civilizations like the Maya and the Egyptians. She plans to continue her graduate education with a doctoral degree and wishes to focus on the competing theories of modern human origins.
