The Palm Beach Museum of Natural History is a corporate tax exempt
non-profit 501(c)(3) entity established under the laws of the state
of Florida. The Museum has been formed by a group of paleontologists,
archaeologists, science educators, and museum professionals dedicated
to the establishment of a premier regional center for the study
and public presentation of the Natural History and Archaeology
of Florida and the Caribbean. There is no formal affiliation with
Palm Beach County.
We
are presently evaluating a number of locations within Palm Beach
County for the establishment of our permanent museum facility.
Such a location should offer a close proximity to educational
institutions and offer a variety of cultural attractions and amenities
that will enhance public support and serve attract visitors. The
museum itself would be a significant addition to any community
redevelopment effort. Please contact us if you would like to discuss
our plans and requirements or if you have a site that you would
like to offer for our consideration. Remember, the museum is a
non-profit entity and your assitance may be tax deductable.
We
ask that anyone who may be interested in making a financial contribution
to the museum please contact our Fundraising Coordinator Tricia Pedrazzoli at velociraptor1979@yahoo.com. The Palm
Beach Museum of Natural History is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization
and contributions are tax deductable under section 170 of the
Internal Revenue Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductable
bequests, devices, transferes or gifts under section 2055, 2106
or 2522 of the code.
We
are also seeking to expand the scope and variety of our collections.
If you would like to donate a collection or an individual artifact
or speciemen to the museum please contact our Director, Mr. Rudolph
F. Pascucci, at rpascucci@pbmnh.org.
We would also be interested in discussing any items that you would
be interested in placing on loan with the museum. Such loans may
be of varying length and you may specify the terms and conditions
under which the museum may make use of your material. A formal
pledge of any donation or loan conditioned upon the eventual location
of the museum would be highly useful in planning our space requirements
and future exhibits. A pledge from you would be a great way to
help us establish and demonstrate the community support needed
to make the museum a success!
